Ilgin Hotel, On The Beach, Ortakent, Turkey

The Ilgin Hotel is situated right on the beach in Ortakent which is 7.5 miles from Bodrum town centre, you can take a bus from outside the hotel if you want to visit the shops, bars and cafes in Bodrum.

The Ilgin Hotel has sun beds and parasols down on the beach for guest use, as well as a swimming pool at the hotel which has a children's section and so is great for older children but would not be suitable for very young children without direct supervision, although the children's section is isolated from the adults swimming pool.

The swimming pool is close to the sun terrace and there is a snack bar near the swimming pool too, so you can have drinks or snacks on the sun terrace or on the sun beds down by the pool.

The Ilgin hotel also has a restaurant for your meals serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Rooms have air conditioning and a balcony, the rooms are clean, cool and elegantly furnished.

The swimming pool is divided into an adults and children's section by an ornate wall running between the two, so you can see your kids playing whilst you relax in the adult pool.

The swimming pool is located directly beneath the balconies, looking out from your room you will see the swimming pool and the sun terrace.

The snack bar serves light meals as well as soft and alcoholic drinks, the snack bar has a beach bar feel to it with roof made from reeds.

The buildings are the familiar Turkish white stone washed buildings, very elegant with the white walls and wooden furniture in your room.

You can eat inside in the restaurant or outside, the weathers warm all year round and it's nice to be able to eat outside enjoying the fine weather.
